I'm going to start with a great new micro-brewery that I have driven by on my way home to Omena everyday that popped up in Suttons' Bay.
The micro-brewery is called Hop Lot. It appears built for the purpose of a brewery and best of all, it has that German Bavarian beer garten style outdoors.The beers I tried were gentle IPAs and the service was good. Since it was a soft opening when I went, they said there would be live music too which I think is critical for a decent micro-brewery. I didn't try the food but it looks designed to accompany beer, e.g. sliders and such.
The location is great because it is only a short walk into Suttons Bay for food,shopping, or site seeing. Suttons Bay is very beautiful on a summer sunny day. This is a place for couples, small or large groups and the crowd is friendly.
